Rising Above The Negative Influence

There are a number of issues that face young men and women who seek to glorify Christ, and one of the most important to consider is that of the influeneces that they have within their lives. We would all love for our young people to only be surrounded by positive influences, but we recognize that this simply isn't the case. In fact, our young people might be surrounded by more negative influences than positive influences. Solomon recognizes the need for young people to listen to wisdom so they might be benefitted by her. This lesson looks at Proverbs 1 and what it says about the danger of giving into negative influences, the awful consequences of going in their way, and the need for rising above the negative influences so that young people can be blessed by wisdom.
