If we are presented with the opportunity to share the most fundamental truths of Christianity with an individual who is seaching for a faith in which to believe, where would we begin? I would suggest that the most logical place to begin with Christianity is with Jesus Christ Himself, but where would we begin teaching about Jesus? Let me again suggest that the Gospel of John would be a great starting point because this Gospel was written with the desire to give strong evidence for Jesus being the Son of God. This lesson is the fourth lesson in a series of lessons that looks at the witnesses offered up by Jesus in John 5 that are in need of consideration when one wants to decide whether or not Jesus truly is the Son of God. This final lesson considers what the Old Testament Scriptures foretold of concerning the coming of God's Messiah.
