God's Children

I don't know if anyone can make a truly legitimate argument for there being a strongly human relationship than that which is had between a mother and her children. The Apostle Paul and even our Lord Jesus would use this relationship to describe just how much they cared for those whom they were striving to teach and influence. However, I do believe that there is a relationship that transcends earthly relationships that is even strong and more important. That relationship is between us as humans and our heavenly Father. This lesson looks at the all-important instructions given by John to the recipients of First John that concerns their standing as God's children. These instructions would help them, and by extension us, to know what needs to be done in order to remain in this relationship so that we might experience the tremendous blessings that come with being God's children.
