Every now and then a well known preacher or religious figure will make a statement or statements that sends shockwaves through the religious community. Andy Stanely made some such remarks early last summer, and there are individuals that are still responding to his comments on the lack of need that New Testament Christians have for not just the Law of Moses but the Old Testament as a whole. This lesson will look at two extreme positions that can be taken in regards to how we view and use the Old Testament, and then it will suggest how we can be more balanced and appropriate in the way we view and use the Old Testament.
