Much of Jesus's ministry was spent focusing on preparing the people for the kingdom of heaven which was at hand and shortly to be a reality. In order to prepare the people, we find Jesus often speaking of the kingdom through the use of parables. We find a number of such parables in Matthew 13, and this lesson focuses on some lessons that we can learn from these parables told by our Lord.
