What would you sell your soul for?

It was not unusual for the writers of the New Testament to reference back to Old Testament characters who made either poor or wise decisions that had a major impact on their lives. One such time is when the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews references Esau as a person who despised his birthright and gave it up for something that was basically meaningless...a bowl of soup. He was willing to see his birthright for next to nothing. We might shake our head at Esau and call him a fool, but we are not much better when we sell our soul to Satan for meaningless things in this life. This lesson considers 5 New Testament examples of individuals who sold their soul to Satan and how we can learn from them.
