Commanded For Our Good (Deut. 6:24,25)

Series: 2016 Daily Bible Reading In The Old Testament

Our congregations Daily Bible Reading has taken us through the first 5 books of the Old Testament, the Pentateuch. The final of the five books, Deuteronomy, is often considered the crown Jewel of these books because it contains Israel's final preparations before entering into this land of promise. This lesson considers a very important portion of the teachins of Moses from Deuteronomy 6:24-25 concerning the fact that God's commandments were for the good of Israel. Understanding this concept would go a long way for those people and they can greatly help us in serving our Lord, as well.
