Eyes of Lust (Matthew 5:27-30)

Series: Difficult Sayings Of Jesus

Our New Testaments are full of sayings and teaching of Jesus and His Apostles, and if we are being honest with ourselves...not all of them are easy to accept or understand. One such occasion is from the sermon on the mount when Jesus says that not only are we to not committ adultery, but we are not even to look at another person with lust for him/her in our hearts. This saying is difficult for mulitple reasons, and this lesson will discuss these reasons. It will also give three things that we must keep in mind when we consider Jesus's tough teachings on the eyes of lust.
