The Servant Brings Satisfaction (Mark 6:30-56)

Following their efforts in spreading the message of the kingdom of heaven throughout the land, the Apostles are told by Jesus to come away from the crowds for rest and rejuvenation. However, the compassion of Jesus moves Him to spend time providing spiritual nourishment them, instead. Jesus also sees their need for physical nourishment, and performs the famous feeding of the 5,000 miracle. This lesson examines this incredible miracle in order to understand the deeper meaning of what it means for Jesus to be the great bringer of satisfaction to mankind.
