Loved In Truth (What I Noticed When I Read II & III John)

Series: 2019 Daily Bible Reading: NT Letters

We can sometimes allow for human intutition to creep into our perception of different Biblical writings. We often think that the larger a thing...the more important or greater it is. Therefore, the longer the Biblical writing the more important and more meaningful it is. However, this type of perception of Biblical writings could not be any further from the truth. For example, the short letters written by John are full of extremely important and powerful teachings even though they are found in very short letters. This lesson looks at those important lessons from the twin letters of II & III John as John writes to brethren that he loved in truth.
