Paul's Defense Of His Apostleship

Series: 2019 Daily Bible Reading: NT Letters

Within our New Testaments, we find the Apostle Paul putting more writing effort into the brethren in Corinth than he does with any other specific group of Christians. He truly wanted for them to grow into a holy and righteous people that would be able to do good work for the Lord, and yet we find some among the Corinthian brethren giving effort to cast doubt upon Paul's apostolic authority. Because of these efforts being made by troublemakers in Corinth, Paul usings a large section of his second letter to the Corinthians to address his qualifications as an apostle. This lesson looks at Paul's argument for his Apostleship, and then it considers some thoughts concerning our ability to defend our own discipleship.
