Israel's Dark Days

Many of us might take a look at the world around us and be left shaking our heads at the wickedness that is seemingly growing worse and worse as the days go by. We might even take those thoughts a step further and wonder if there have ever been days so dark as the ones we are living in. The answer to that question would have to be a resounding, "yes!". There have been many dark days in the history of mankind, and the Bible even gives us some details concerning the darkest of days in man's history. This lesson looks at the wickedness that was taking place within Israel during the chapters of Judges 17-21. The wicked actions will be examined, the root causes will be considered, and then a couple of important lessons will be put forth.
