Series: 2019 Focus: Excelling Still More

As a person who grew up playing sports and enjoying video games, I knew that there were always goals that I could look forward to as I competed. In sports the goal was to be the best team and improve in my skils. With the video games, I knew there was a final boss to beat or a storyline that I had to accomplish. In almost any competition or endeavor there is a goal to achieve and a finish line to cross. These same principles are also true of our faiths. There is a finish line that we are trying to cross. There are goals that we are trying to achieve, but what is the finish line? What are our goals as Christians? This first lesson on our 2019 congregation focus of "Excelling Still More" seeks to answer these questions.
