The dust had not even settled in Jericho before the Israelites suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the people of Ai. How did this happen? How had the people of Israel fallen so far so quickly? How could they defeat the mighty city of Jericho, yet be defeated by the diminutive people of Ai? The answer was sin among the people. Achan sinned against God and it lead to death among the people. This lesson looks at his mistakes and the consequences of them.
