The New Testament lays out the pattern for which the local church is to be organized and led. The Apostle Paul, in I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and I Peter 5:1-4, teaches that the local church is to be led by men who are able to shepherd the flock of God that is among them (Acts 20:28). These are men of great character, wisdom, and example. We are blessed with four men who have the ability and who are willing to serve in the capacity of Shepherd/Elder/ Bishop/Overseer for the church here at Pleasant Plains.

The New Testament (I Timothy 3:12,13) also gives us examples of men who acted in a servatory roles within local churches. There is much work that needs to be done and the Lord has seen fit to allow men to serve as deacons (servants) within the local church. We are blessed with nine men who are willing and able to serve this church in many capacities.
